Recreational Equipment Inc. will present a free public clinic, "GPS 101," at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, at the Missoula store on 2230 N. Reserve St. The clinic will cover all the basics, such as marking and finding waypoints, using tracks, interfacing with a computer, installing maps and using the compass, plus a few extras like Geocaching.
